One builds a statue only after forgetting how painful hunger feels. But whoever has points has glory -- and glory is the currency that never expires.

How Points Are Calculated #

Your score is derived from the building levels across all your islands. Higher buildings yield more points. The town hall awards more per level than other buildings, reflecting its central importance.

Points are recalculated automatically at regular intervals and updated in the public rankings. You need not do anything -- just keep building and your score rises.

Ranking Categories #

The rankings are divided into several categories:

• Overall -- A weighted combination of all categories (Empire counts fully, Naval Power at half weight, Attack and Defense proportionally). This means "Overall" is not equal to the simple sum of the individual categories
• Empire -- Points from building levels
• Attack -- Points from successful attacks
• Defense -- Points from successful defense
• Naval Power -- Points based on your fleet strength

This lets you see who is the greatest builder, who is the most dangerous attacker, and who commands the strongest fleet. Some players focus on one category, others aim for the overall title.

Tiers #

Based on your total score you are assigned a tier. Tiers give you and others a quick overview of your general game strength. They range from newcomer up to the mightiest emperors of the ocean.

Weekly Snapshots #

Every Monday morning a snapshot of the current rankings is taken. This allows you to:

• Track your progress over weeks
• Identify risers and fallers in the overall standings
• Review historical changes

Strategy #

• Buildings are king -- Every level on every island counts toward your total score
• Statue for prestige -- Earns you personal prestige and ranking points and, together with your members' statues, drives the alliance buff (details in the "Alliances" chapter)
• Depth over breadth -- The Empire score honors the heart of an empire more than the sheer number of islands. A focused, deep empire is weighted higher than a scattered, broad one
• Think long-term -- The rankings reward steady growth, not short-term spikes
