Fleet Cockpit
Whoever stays on top of the map wins the hour.
TL;DR: The Fleet Cockpit shows every fleet movement on a single page -- with templates, bulk actions, and a mobile-friendly layout.
- Five tabs: En route, Stationed, Incoming, Market routes, Reinforcements
- Save ship mixes as templates and apply them instantly on selection
- Bulk recall for multiple reinforcements
- Quick-fill buttons in the fleet wizard
Where do I find the Cockpit? #
The Fleet Cockpit lives at /game/flotten. It complements the existing Fleet page (/game/fleet) -- the Fleet page is still where you launch a single dispatch, while the Cockpit gives you a single overview of everything currently at sea.
Tab Overview #
The Cockpit is split into five tabs. Each tab groups one category of movement:
- En route -- All outgoing fleets across every island you own. Cross-island, sorted by arrival time. If a fleet is still inside its recall window, you can tick its checkbox and recall several at once.
- Stationed -- Your reinforcements parked on foreign or own islands. Same multi-select pattern: recall multiple reinforcements with a single action.
- Incoming -- Incoming fleets to your islands plus third-party fleets observed by your watchtowers. Read-only.
- Market routes -- All your active marketplace fleets. Read-only -- market actions still happen on the marketplace pages.
- Reinforcements -- Foreign reinforcements stationed on your own islands. Read-only.
Each tab shows a short empty-state message if nothing is happening in it.
Templates #
Common ship mixes get used over and over again. Instead of typing the same numbers every time, the Cockpit offers templates: A template stores a selection of ships, troops, and optionally a preferred mission type.
- Save during dispatch: The fleet wizard has a "Save as template" checkbox plus a name field. If you tick it, sending the fleet also creates a template.
- Save standalone:
/game/flotten/templateshas a direct create form -- no dispatch required. - Apply: In the wizard's picker -- selecting a template fills the ship and troop fields immediately, no extra step needed. On the templates page itself you can create, rename and delete templates. The template is not consumed; reuse it as often as you like.
- Limit: A maximum of 10 templates per player. When the limit is reached, delete an existing one before saving a new one.
Templates are forward-compatible: if the game adds new ship types in a future release, old templates keep their selections and new slots simply start empty.
Bulk Actions #
In the "Stationed" tab you can recall several reinforcements at once instead of clicking each individually. The same mechanism applies in "En route" for outgoing fleets that are still recallable.
- Selection: Tick the checkbox in each row.
- Limit: At most 20 actions per request, so the server isn't overwhelmed.
- Result: After clicking, you see a summary: "X recalled, Y failed". Failures are usually entries that no longer exist (someone else recalled them, a cron resolved them, etc.).
Bulk actions are idempotent. Double-clicking (e.g., from two open tabs) does not create double-homecomings.
Mobile #
The Cockpit is built for small screens. Tabs collapse to compact pills, tables scroll horizontally, and buttons stack vertically. The fleet wizard adds quick-fill buttons that let you compose a full fleet on a narrow display with three taps.
Quick-Fill Buttons #
Above the ships list in the fleet wizard you'll find three buttons: All, Half, Reset. They act on every ship and troop field at once.
- All sets each field to its maximum (available ships/units).
- Half sets each field to half of the maximum.
- Reset clears every field.
Especially handy for dispatch: with "All" you instantly compose a full reinforcement fleet and only have to type the target.
